About time!
Updated review.
This app is worth more than the cost of all versions combined. Its funny to read negative reviews on here on pricing issues. Its funny because the author didnt like what was available and made his own rather than bellyache about it. Not only does he make a vastly improved version, but makes it better than pro desktop and tac PDA versions Ive used that cost exponentially more. He even listens to shooters on how to improve the app. For all the whinners, make your own or STFU.
Now, a real review.
This application allows you to take G1 bcs given by manufactures (most of which are already in the expansive library included in the app) and convert to more accurate (IMO) G7 tables. The multiple output choices let you select 1/8 clicks for benchrest scopes and 1/4 clicks for hunting. The new features are very usefull and thus far it has been spot on to 800 yards.
The people who havent had this success should really consider the following before writing bad reviews:
Is your scope mounted and aligned correctly? Did you have any cant while shooting long distance? Is the internal mechanics of your scope working correctly? Do you use a chrono to measure a good statistical sample speed from the muzzle? And finally when you cant blame anything else, did you check the shooter? Flinch, wrong wind reading, mirage, heavy pull on the trigger (all of mine can be measured in ounces).
Look up cats targets by horus. Youd be surprised what some scopes will do out of the box (even the high dollar "tactical" scopes from a company that makes mostly hunting scopes).
If after all that the program gives you numbers that are way off (it hasnt for me) then write a bad review
